Asulon - refuge, origin Greek.
Collective - a cooperative enterprise.

Asulon Collective is a coffee cart catering service (say that five times fast) in Nashville, Tennessee. I have had the joy of knowing and collaborating with Emily Springer, the owner and head coffee champ for a few years, and over the last few months I have been assisting her with many events around town. The coffee community would be one of my first loves, and being able to collaborate with Emily both on this project, and as her business grows is very special to me. For this project, I decided to take the Asulon slogan — ‘Cultivating connection through craft coffee’, and illustrate that using hands holding and touching one another. This project was specifically inspired by Musicians Corner, Nashville’s free summer and fall concert series, which inspired some of the traditional Nashville symbols used, as Asulon is a new coffee sponsor for the event. Additionally, something different about Asulon are the conversation cards — question cards designed to connect with others, which inspired some of the questions illustrated on the design.
