This is an Addy award winning piece! The primary objective for this project was to identify a graphic designer whose creative output resonated with our sensibilities and develop a comprehensive timeline showcasing their body of work. After careful consideration, I opted for Saul Bass due to his unparalleled knack for elevating uncomplicated ideas into compelling visual narratives. Drawing inspiration from his iconic letterhead, I infused elements of his signature style into the timeline cover, effectively capturing the essence of his artistic legacy. Notably, I incorporated a fish motif, paying homage to the "Bass" surname, creating a captivating poster design that tastefully encapsulates his unique artistic identity. This stellar endeavor garnered well-deserved acclaim, securing a Silver Addy at the 2023 American Advertising Federation Awards held in Nashville.
